The Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Developmental Disabilities is pleased to participate in the Nassau Schools Emergency Planning Consortium. We hope that you will use this website for rapid access to local information during an emergency. Our Department provides an array of mental health and support services to children, youth and their families during a crisis. Our Critical Incident Response Team works closely with the Office of Emergency Management and is available to respond quickly and effectively.
